My first Blog Post

Never, ever, did I think I would start a "blog."  I have found, however, that the Forum Online (out of Fargo, North Dakota) as well as the Star-Tribune (out of Minneapolis, Minnesota) seem to selectively choose which subjects are "suitable" to comment on and also which posts are "acceptable."  After much frustration and dismay trying to express opinions in these newspaper "comment" sections, I feel obliged to create a place where we can all express our opinions freely.  In no way do I support ugly, nasty posting or sexist/racist comments but I do believe in the Freedom of the American Public to express dissatisfaction, dissent or alternate views regarding the most important subjects of the day.  Welcome to my Blog.  Enjoy!
